AHRC Streamlining Activity

In spite of the many challenges confronted, the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao - Health Research Consortium (AHRC) held its Streamlining Activity last October 19 - 21, 2010 at Davao City.
Regional Secretary Fradzkhan Ilaji of the Department of Science & Technology (DOST - ARMM) encouraged everyone to take and be part of the AHRC activities in order to strengthen the consortium and to improve the lives within the region.
Furthermore, the said activity was graced by different government and academic institutions including those in the island provinces.

MIMAROPA signs MOA establishing regional health research and development consortium

The newly established MIMAROPA (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) Health Research and Development Consortium (MHRDC), signed its Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with member institutions last November 5, 2010, at the Richmonde Hotel, Pasig City.
MHRDC's primary objective is to strengthen the system of collaboration in Region IV-B to develop and enhance the capacity of institutions within the region engaged in health research as a strategy to improve the health conditions of the people.

HERDIN NeON team trains the institutions in the Philippine Cordilleras. The activity sets forward with an invocation led by Phoebe U. Pasiwen (PAS II - CRHRDC), Welcome Remarks by Maria Rowena Madarang (Admin Support Staff - CRHRDC), and Acknowledgment of Participants & Resource speakers by David Greg S. Agaya (TWG Member - CRHRDC).
Attendees of the activity are the following: 1.) Baguio General Hospital Medical Center; 2.) St. Louis University; 3.) University of the Cordilleras; 4.) University of Baguio; 5.) Department of Health - CAR; 6.) University of Baguio - School of National Science; 7.) University of Baguio - MIS; 8.) Benguet State University; 9.) DOST - CAR; 10.) NEDA - CAR; 11.) Baguio Filipino Chinese General Hospital; 12.) Ifugao State University; 13.) University of Baguio Research and Development Center; and 14.) Baguio State University.
