The Department of Health – Health Policy Development and Planning Bureau (DOH-HPDPB) has provided additional research topics under the 2015 HSRM Research Agenda. Below is the list of researches which are open for selection of primary investigators:

1. Support to Policy Development for the National Tobacco Control Program
2. Support to Policy Development for the Implementation of Article 12 of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control: Education, Communication, Training and Public Awareness
3. Support to Policy Development for the Improvement of Service Delivery Networks in the Provision of Tobacco Cessation Services

PCHRD and DOH-HPDPB advise and encourage you to submit your one-page summary proposals for the aforementioned researches to PCHRD, through the Project Officer, Ms. Ullyann Garcia via This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., until Friday, June 9, 2017. The final selection of proponents by DOH-HPDPB will be scheduled on Friday, June 16, 2017. One-page summary proposals have no specific format, but please provide in-depth description of the research design, including sampling, methods, study sites and sample population, work plan schedule, and if possible, a proposed budget.

Please find attached the different terms of reference provided by DOH-HPDPB. Please be advised that the objectives stated in the terms of reference remain, but the researcher has the option to provide modifications in the methodology stated in the TOR to increase the rigor of the study’s research design.

As new researchers of DOH-HPDPB and PCHRD, please provide us also a copy of your updated curriculum vitae for our reference, and a list of similar research projects, specifically in health systems and public health research, undertaken by the researcher.
