The opening of the exhibit is on August 14, 2019, 4:00 PM. Exhibit viewing will run from August 15-16, 2019, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Airlines have regular flights from Manila, Cebu, Iloilo, Zamboanga, and Davao to Laguindingan Airport, which is the main airport of Northern Mindanao. You may contact airline companies to check the latest available information about flight schedules and rates. We recommend that you get a plane ticket early to avoid booking cancellation and penalty.
How to get to the venue:
Upon arrival to Laguindingan airport, participants can either arrange for a private transportation service to Cagayan De Oro or take the airport shuttles or bus. Shuttles and buses are located at the terminal outside the airport's arrival area. Most transportation services from the airport to CDO will drop you off straight to Limketkai Luxe Hotel, the official event venue for the 13th PNHRS Week celebration which is located at Lapasan, Cagayan De Oro City. To be sure, we still recommend you to ask the personnel in charge of the transportation. Prices also vary depending on the transportation company.
Travel time from Laguindingan Airport to Limketkai Luxe Hotel ranges from 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the preferred route and traffic situation in the area.
The theme of the 13th PNHRS Week celebration is “Achieving Health-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through Research and Innovation” set for 13-16 August 2019 at the Limketkai Luxe Hotel, Cagayan De Oro City.
Hosted by the Northern Mindanao Consortium for Health Research and Development (NorMinCOHRD), the PNHRS week celebration serves as a platform for the different stakeholders to discuss the current situation, challenges, and advancements related to improving health and equity through reinforced health research and innovation in the regions and local communities.
Registration will start on August 13, 2019, 7:00 AM at the Ballroom entrance of Limketkai Luxe Hotel, Cagayan De Oro City. For those who plan to attend the events starting August 14 to 17, participants must arrive and register at least 1 hour before the session/conference starts to avoid cancellation of slot. Only confirmed participants will be accepted for registration.
Confirmation deadline is on July 26, 2019, 11:59 PM. If the maximum attendee capacity is reached, the organizers reserve the right to refuse late registration.
To help you have the best experience during the 13th PNHRS Week Celebration on 13-17 August 2019, please be reminded of the following:
- Always bring your Pass Slip (printed or saved on your smart phone).
- Bring one (1) valid ID for validation purposes.
- Registration starts at 7AM.
- Wear your conference ID pass to gain entry to the venue and at all times during the conference. ID passes can be reissued on-site for a FEE, so please don't forget your pass.
COMPANION
A companion pass allows conference participants to bring a companion (spouses, family members, friends etc). Companions are allowed to explore the exhibit from August 13-17, 8AM-5PM:
Please note that companions are NOT ALLOWED to attend other sessions and avail meals provided during the conference.
